Only two Democrats have said they plan to run against Alabama's six Republican members of Congress so far, but party leaders said they expect to have challengers in all six races by the time candidate qualifying ends Jan. 13.
“We've got a few weeks still, but we plan to have people in all those districts,” said Bradley Davidson, executive director of the Alabama Democratic Party.
Hallelujah! Support AL Democrats, now.
No more free passes.
No more BS about not wanting to “stir up Republicans.”
No more discouraging Democrats from running.
No more failure to offer a choice to voters.
As Howard Dean said:
We will only win when we show up and fight for the issues important to all of us. … We can win elections only by standing up for what we believe.
Dean intoduced the very successful 50 State Strategy as DNC Chairman. Let's have a 67 County Strategy here in Alabama!
